About Us
Who We Are
To invite others into the hope of Christ.
Connect in community, grow in faith, and serve for God’s glory.
At Hope of Edwardsburg, our mission is to invite others into the life-changing hope found in Jesus Christ. We believe that true transformation begins with an invitation—to know Christ personally and walk with Him daily. As we connect in authentic community, we build relationships that encourage, support, and reflect God’s love. Together, we grow in faith through worship, discipleship, and the study of God’s Word. And as we are equipped, we joyfully serve—both within the church and throughout our community—living as the hands and feet of Christ. Everything we do is for the glory of God, and we believe there’s a place here for everyone to belong, grow, and make a difference.

Our Beliefs
What We Believe
At Hope of Edwardsburg, we believe in the life-changing power of Jesus Christ, the truth of God’s Word, and the calling to live out our faith with love, grace, and purpose.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, and the Lord of all. He is the central figure of our faith and the living expression of God's love and truth.
Jesus is fully God and fully human. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life, taught with divine authority, performed miracles, and revealed the heart and character of God to the world.
Jesus willingly gave His life on the cross to atone for our sins, offering salvation and reconciliation to all who place their trust in Him. On the third day, He rose from the dead, defeating sin and death, and now reigns as Lord and King at the right hand of God the Father.
As the only Savior and Mediator, Jesus is the way to eternal life. Through Him, we are forgiven, made new, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to live holy lives. One day, He will return in glory to judge the living and the dead, and to establish His eternal Kingdom.
In the Global Methodist Church, we joyfully proclaim:
Jesus Christ is the foundation of our faith, the hope of the world, and the One to whom we owe our love, obedience, and worship.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the authoritative and trustworthy revelation of His will, character, and redemptive plan for humanity.
We believe the Bible is God-breathed, written by human authors under the divine guidance of the Holy Spirit. It contains everything necessary for salvation, and it is the final authority for what we believe, how we live, and how we understand the nature of God and His work in the world.
The Bible includes the Old and New Testaments, which together tell the story of creation, fall, redemption, and restoration. That is centered in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is the living Word made flesh.
In the Global Methodist Church, we affirm the historic Wesleyan understanding of Scripture, which upholds the Bible as the primary rule and guide for faith and practice, interpreted through the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible is not just a book to study—it is a living word that transforms hearts, renews minds, and leads us into deeper relationship with God here.
The Trinity is the Christian belief that there is one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We do not worship three gods, but one God in three persons—co-equal, co-eternal, and of one divine essence. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, yet distinct in role and relationship.
God the Father is the Creator, sovereign over all, who lovingly sustains and redeems His creation.
God the Son, Jesus Christ, is the Word made flesh—our Savior, Lord, and the exact image of the invisible God.
God the Holy Spirit is the presence and power of God within and among us, who sanctifies, guides, and empowers believers for holy living and mission.
In the Global Methodist Church, we uphold the historic Christian doctrine of the Trinity as essential to our faith. The triune God is not distant or abstract—He is relational, loving, and actively involved in our lives. Through the Trinity, we come to know the fullness of God’s grace, truth, and power.
